1. Acceptance of Terms & Jurisdictional Self-Certification

By accessing or using Ledgelo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

Your use of Ledgelo constitutes your certification that you are legally permitted to use cryptocurrency swap services in your jurisdiction. You acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to determine whether your use of Ledgelo complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Ledgelo does not provide legal advice and makes no representations regarding the legality of our services in any jurisdiction.

2. Service Description

Ledgelo is a user interface only. We provide a frontend application that connects to third-party cryptocurrency swap providers. Ledgelo does not operate as a cryptocurrency exchange, money transmitter, or financial institution.

All cryptocurrency swap transactions are processed by and through third-party service providers. Ledgelo acts solely as a non-custodial interface to facilitate access to these services. We do not:

Hold, control, or have custody of any user funds
Execute or process cryptocurrency transactions
Provide exchange rates
Operate as a money services business

By using Ledgelo, you acknowledge that your transactions are processed by third-party providers and you agree to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

3. KYC/KYT Verification

Our third-party providers may require Know Your Customer (KYC) or Know Your Transaction (KYT) verification for certain transactions. This may include:

Identity verification for large transactions
Source of funds verification
Transaction monitoring for suspicious activity

Failure to complete required verification may result in transaction suspension or cancellation. Network fees for refunds are borne by the user.

4. Memo/Destination Tags

Some cryptocurrencies (such as XRP, XLM, EOS, BNB, ATOM, and others) require a memo or destination tag for transactions. Failure to include the correct memo/tag may result in permanent loss of funds. Ledgelo and its providers cannot recover funds sent without the correct memo/tag.

5. Dual-Nature Coins

For cryptocurrencies that support both transparent and shielded addresses (such as Zcash, PIVX, FIRO, Hush, Komodo, and Dash), only transparent addresses are supported. Transactions from shielded addresses cannot be processed and funds may be permanently lost.

6. Transaction Processing

Transactions may be suspended, terminated, or frozen if:

The transaction fails KYT verification
The user fails or refuses KYC verification
The transaction is deemed suspicious or fraudulent
Funds may be associated with criminal proceeds
Required by government authorities

7. Limitation of Liability

Ledgelo and its third-party providers shall not be liable for any incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the British Virgin Islands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in the British Virgin Islands in accordance with the rules of the BVI International Arbitration Centre. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding upon both parties. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Ledgelo.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ledgelo, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) your violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

11. Intellectual Property

The Ledgelo name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Ledgelo or its affiliates. You may not use such marks without prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are the trademarks of their respective owners.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last modified" date. Your continued use of Ledgelo after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.

Security & Privacy

Ledgelo is a non-custodial service. We do not store your private keys or hold your funds. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted connections.

We may collect transaction data for compliance and security purposes. This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
